Will Smith has just been announced as the next host of Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards! Smith himself has won 10 blimps in the past and is a fantastic choice as host since he boasts two of his own kids, Willow and Jaden who represent the acting and music industry. The awards will take place on March 31st at 8pm and promise to be one of the biggest shows yet! The only outstanding question we have is, when, where and who may slime Will Smith? Famous hosts in the past have not escaped the slime, and no doubt his own kids will want in on the action. We are looking forward to all the Orange Carpet action and the celebrities it brings out for one of the most fun nights in Hollywood.

This week on the Thursday night X Factor elimination show, there will be some big acts to watch!  Willow Smith is set to perform her latest single, “Fireball” featuring Nikki Minaj. the single was released only about a week and half ago, and fans are eager to get a first look at the performance.

Welcome to the teenage years Jaden!  On July 8th, he turned 13 years old.  It is astounding to think how extensive his career has been even before reaching this significant youth milestone.  Congratulations, can’t wait to see what your teen years bring to your career and how you change!

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were surprise guests on the last episode of Oprah’s final show.  The show turned into a tribute including other A-list stars like Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Madonna, Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Jordan, Simon Cowell and others.  Each gave thier a happy farwell, and some entertained, including Aretha Franklin who sang Amazing Grace.  Now that the show has closed its final chapter, some are wondering – what will bring the stars to Chicago?  The Oprah Winfrey show was an exception to the rule, bringing the stars through Chicago for the media round up, when most shows broadcast out of NY and LA.  What will happen to Chicago?

On February 16^th, the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Las Vegas unveiled their newest statue- Will Smith. Successful in the realms of both music and acting, Will Smith is the father of the young actor Jaden Smith and the rising pop singer Willow Smith. The museum’s debut of the new figure was part of its Black History Tour, which includes other impressive figures such as President Obama, Martin Luther King Jr., Jamie Foxx, Whoopi Goldberg and many others.

Overbrook Entertainment, Will Smith’s company, announced that their opening project will be a “re-imagination of the classic Broadway musical Annie, as a vehicle for Willow Smith.” The successful young star Willow, who released the hit single Whip My Hair not too long ago, will be join her parents and Jay-Z in the making of the film as Annie herself. Her brother Jaden Smith also recently starred in the new version of The Karate Kid.

Will Smith’s daughter Willow has admitted that she may rework one of her dad’s hits “Parents Just Don’t Understand.” She said “there’s a possibility that I will…. It’s a really great song.” She added that her motto is “Whatever you see in your closet that you like… pick it and wear it.” She explained that “It’s not just your closet, but it’s your life. Whatever catches your eye- check it out! If you want to jump over a log, jump over a log.”

When asked about her father’s character in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air she said “it was very funny. I was laughing a lot. I found the words that he said and the clothes that he wore really funny. And the jokes that he told, too.”

Willow Smith, the daughter of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, was the adorable highlight of a fashion photoshoot for the Sunday Times’ Style magazine. Willow headed first to hair and makeup, and then continued to whip her hair and pose in numerous outfits including riding gear, a bright yellow plaid skirt, a red flowing gown and a “ghetto look,” while her mother and dog looked on.

The ten year old is incredibly confident. “I get my flow from my Daddy, my singing ability from my Mummy and the camera stuff from both,” she explained.

The Pinkett-Smiths seem to believe that their children will make the right choices. “We don’t have rules,” Jada explained. “We come up with agreements. Kids are little people and we’re in life to guide them. Trying to rule someone is always an illusion and it’s no different with children.”

Actor, rapper and film producer Will Smith is returning to his television roots. Since starring in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 through 1996, Smith has starred in numerous films including Independence Day, Enemy of the State, Men in Black, The Pursuit of Happiness, I am Legend,  I, Robot, Hancock and many more.

Now, Smith and Overbrook Films are taking up a new project: two television series. One will be an adaptation of his 2005 film Hitch, along with co-stars Kevin James and Eva Mendes. In the second, Smith will join China’s Eva Jin in a show that follows a crime-battling college student.



Willow Smith, the ten year old daughter of Will Smith, has recently announced on Twitter that she will be joining Justin Bieber on his European tour of ‘My World.’

Her exact tweet was: “Got news that my big bro @justinbieber invited me to his European Tour in March. So exciting! Maybe I’ll let Jadn come…LOL #NEVERSAYNEVER (sic).” Later, Bieber confirmed Willow’s tweet with one of his own, and added that there are “more surprises coming.”
